This is a test page to demonstrate the problem
Thrive: I've set the BUY NOW button to appear 7 or 8 seconds from the start of the video so we don't have to wait long to know if it's working.
Webinator generates two different options:
<div style="width: 100%; padding-bottom: 55.9%; position: relative;"><iframe style="position: absolute; bottom: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%;" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" id="iframe" src="https://member.x10effect.com/webinator/videojs-player/player.php?wid=524&hashcode=nAHSXpJFfG"></iframe></div>
You will see below, I've tried a
I've experimented with 1. the embed code and 2. the video link.
Please note - my last trial at the bottom of the page.
I've just discovered that the embed code DOES work with the Wordpress element. I have to put the embed code in 'text' and I was putting it in 'visual'. However, grateful to have found a way to present the Webinator video, I'd rather use a 'Thrive video element'. Why doesn't it accept this Externally Hosted URL?
Ideally I'd use the video link and the video player, as this would make the most attractive presentation on the page and would be in keeping with the rest of the site.
Thrive: This is a WordPress content element with the Webinator embed code. As you can see, the video isn't the correct size to fit the window.
Thrive: This is a WordPress content element with the Webinator url/link. As you can see, it wasn't a good idea! I'm trying everything out of good experiment design (and desperation!!)
Thrive: This is a Custom html content element, using Webinator's embed code. Again, the video isn't the correct size to fit the window.
Thrive: This is a Custom html content element, using Webinator's url link. Again, the video isn't the correct size to fit the window. As you can see, there's nothing displayed!!
Thrive: This is Thrive Architect video content element. It would all look beautiful, but it won't accept the Webinator link.
Thrive: This is a Content Reveal content element. But the only control I have is deciding when I want my own BUY NOW button to appear - It's not linked to the video and will be a nonsense if they delay clicking on the PLAY button, or pause it for any reason.
Thrive: It works!
