By  Lysette Offley

Autism reversed - photo of child carrying teddy upside downThe brains of autistic children usually show more excitement for inanimate objects than for their mother’s face.

But in the Early Start Denver Model program, researchers observe that, when caught early enough, the youngsters undergoing specific behaviour therapy for a couple of years, developed similar activity in their brain, to that of children with normal development.

It’s a good sign. Perhaps one day it will be commonplace for this therapy to be available.

We can hope.
